Class Cancellations
If a class is cancelled by joayoKorean for any reason, students may switch to another class offered or be refunded in full.
* Less than 3 learners registration
If the class registration is less than 3 learners, the class session will be reduced to 1 hour program - becomes a semi-private class.
Refunds & Postponements Group Lesson:
No fee - Classes will only be refunded in full (or postponed) if requested at least 1 week prior to the first day of class by written notice.
$50 fee — If refund or postponement is requested less than 1 week prior to the first day of class
No refunds, postponements, prorating, credits, or switching classes are allowed once the course begins.
No refunds — If refund or postponement is requested on or after the first day of class, regardless of any reason.
Cancellations must be made in writing and sent by email to joayokoreancontact@gmail.com. JoayoKorean reserves the right to cancel any course due to insufficient enrollment; registered students will receive a full refund.
joayoKorean offers only online Korean language programs; group classes, private lessons and corporate programs.
Group Classes: Designed for adults & over the age of 15 and meet according to class schedules.
*All online classes.
Private Lessons: Designed for teenagers and adults, and may meet any day and time the student prefers. Lessons can be designed for the learner’s particular purpose of learning Korean.
Age limit: adults & over the age of 15 years or older at the time of the first class.

Corporate Programs: Designed for the specific company, and may meet any day and time the company prefers.
*All online classes.
Each program meets once a week for 8 weeks and generally runs for 1.5 hours (90 mins) each session.
We provide interactive real-time online courses from highly experienced and qualified native Korean instructors.
Students purchase the textbook, joayoKorea.com doesn't provide the textbook. However, supplement materials will be provided as needed.

As this is a non-graded, non-accredited program, credit cannot be provided at this time.
Make-up classes or issuing of refunds for classes missed for illness, emergency or events beyond human control cannot be accommodated.
*Illness and emergency cases require medical proof or emergency proof.
Students who miss a group class will not receive a free make-up class, but they may schedule a 1-hour make-up lesson with their teacher at a discounted rate.
Students may reschedule their private lesson at no charge with a minimum of 24-hour notice. If the lesson is cancelled in less than 24 hours of the start of the lesson, it will be considered taken.
Preferably gmail as our teachers manage classes through google classroom.
